Scope
The page covers Morocco's 12 administrative regions under the 2015 territorial division defined by Organic Law No. 111-14.
Definitions
Total population refers to the resident population counted by the census. Poverty rate measures the share of the population below the monetary poverty threshold. Vulnerability rate captures the population located just above that threshold. Urbanisation rate measures the share of population living in urban areas. Activity rate refers to the share of working-age population participating in the labour market.
